Emma Willard Summer Programs

Now in its second year, the Summer Programs at Emma Willard School include the English Immersion Program, a month-long program for English Language Learners, and Writer's Retreat, a two week intensive writing program. Girls from around the world join together to improve their academic English skills and work together on projects inside and outside of the classroom. Along with trips to Boston and New York City, the girls explore everything upstate New York has to offer.

Sunday Funday!

Sunday started off with some homemade pancakes for breakfast. After that, the girls divided up into three groups; the girls in the Writer's Retreat went to the Shakespeare Festival to see Love's Labors Lost, one group went on a high ropes course at Adirondack Extreme and the third went shopping at the outlets in Lake George. We ended the day with our Sunday night cookout and a live concert in downtown Troy. What a fun, busy day!
