Now in its second year, the Summer Programs at Emma Willard School include the English Immersion Program, a month-long program for English Language Learners, and Writer's Retreat, a two week intensive writing program. Girls from around the world join together to improve their academic English skills and work together on projects inside and outside of the classroom. Along with trips to Boston and New York City, the girls explore everything upstate New York has to offer.

A lecture from Historian Trudy Hanmer
Today the girls attended a lecture from Emma Willard School historian Trudy Hanmner. Ms. Hamner discussed her new bookWrought with Steadfast Will, a history of Emma Hart Willard and the Emma Willard School.

Last night the girls enjoyed a trip to Moxie's, a local ice cream store. The ice cream was delicious, and the girls enjoyed spending time together.
